Jessica Vreeswijk, BCom, MCPM, MBA in Sustainable Business Candidate (2009) is the founder and principal of Terrabytes Consulting. Jessica is passionate about providing green information technology services to organizations including those that are not traditionally well-supported by the IT industry, such as non-profits, cultural institutions, community associations and small- to medium-sized businesses. With a background in business and professional project management training, Jessica offers professional advice to organizations wishing to achieve greater benefits from their use of technology. Jessica also infuses a conscience for sustainable business including greener technology in her practise. Jessica understands the challenges IT can pose for small business and offers flexible arrangements - no project is too small.
With experience working in large corporations, government, cultural institutions, non-profits and community associations, Jessica has an excellent understanding of the challenges and opportunities each of these organizational models presents.
Jessica's previous projects include green IT assessments and business case development, project management for major system implementation projects and upgrade projects, business analysis and documentation, user training and documentation, process analysis and design, risk analysis and mitigation, and database development, migration and cleanup.
Jessica is currently focused on raising awareness about the environmental impacts of our IT departments by creating tools and providing services to help organizations assess their impact and implement greener IT practises where opportunities for efficiencies exist.
