What is green IT?
'Green IT' refers to initiatives and strategies that reduce the environmental footprint of technology. Methods include reducing energy use and consumables, including electricity, equipment, paper and fuel. To make it easy to understand, we have developed a framework that categorizes green IT practises into four main areas:
